Production notes
THE GOOD HUSBAND is based on the first act of a feature length screenplay I wrote.
The short actually began as a class exercise from an NYU directing class I was taking. The exercise was to direct an “action sequence” with no dialogue. It became the office scene in which Ed researches different methods of strangulation.
We shot the film on Panasonic DVX100a over the course of three months on a shoestring budget.
We could shoot only on alternating weekends because everyone had a full-time job.
The crew consisted of friends and people who just wanted to help out.
It was tons of work but loads of fun.
